White Wings

Fast shutter speeds allow the photographer to capture subjects that are in motion, or briefly pausing from motion. The butterfly barely landed before taking off once again, during which time I was able to quickly snap a shot of it. The white wings are what really stands out on this photo, the way they seem to float like sails in the wind.
